I finished this on November 22nd, 2009. This is the final push to Basel. We have a lot of things going on this year. The Bakehouse is hosting a breakfast each day of the fair, December 3-6 and will be open from 10am until 6pm. The artists are all bringing in homemade baked goods in celebration of 23 years open. I am bringing my great aunt Katie's war cake, called that because it does not use eggs (which were rationed at the time). Note all you vegans out there: no butter either, this cake is eatable by you. I should be at my studio during those hours so please stop by if you are in town. I also just learned that I will be in the Overthrow booth at the Aqua art fair in the GenArt section. I have tentatively agreed to do some live painting. I will post as soon as I have dates and times for that. Also, do not forget the Arroz Con Leche party at Transit Lounge on Saturday night. That should be packed. The electro band Palenke Soultribe from LA, plus a 30 foot live mural collaboration between 19 artists, myself included. Should be a blast.
