I finished this on May 30th, 2009 at my studio in Miami Beach. I went to a show that evening at Churchills that was really great. A bunch of really good music, notably this band The Killer Moon. Wow. Was not expecting that. Met some great folks like Gabriel from The Mauxms, who is in to a lot of the same music I like. We shouted band names and albums back and forth at each other over the deafening din of Churchills. I believe I recommended that he check out 'The Sun' by Fridge and 'millions now living will never die' by Tortoise. A few others too, 'Angels Egg' by Gong. Spoke (again at very high volumes) to a fellow artist Fabien de la Flor, who brought a couple great pieces. I really liked the one with the dog. Had a great conversation with Nicole Swift who did very well in her first ever exhibition. Looking forward to the next one.
