I was asked to do an install in the “Case Studies“ windows for Miriam Preston Block Gallery by the City of Raleigh Arts Office. The exhibit is up from February 6 to the end of March.

Surface Matters kicks off the Block Gallery’s 30th year of exhibitions with an opening on Feb. 6 from 5-7pm. The artists ofSurface Matters, Cindy Morefield, Joyce Watkins King and Stacy Bloom Rexrode create a heightened sensory experience for the viewer through highly textured surfaces. Artist Ross Ford’s iterative drawings are the first of a year-long series at the Block Gallery titled Case Study, a new initiative that provides a public platform for installation artists.
